20 Million Servers Face Microsoft End of Support Deadline

AvatarWritten by | NextGen Data Center

Microsoft has announced that they will end support for Windows Server 2008 on January 14, 2020. Customers still running Windows Server 2008 after end of support will face a number of challenges:

  • Increased threat of cybercrime
  • Loss of support for popular applications
  • Rising costs
  • Limited options for cloud computing

The time is now to make sure your customers upgrade their environment and avoid any support outages. Additionally, as an added bonus from HPE, you could earn up to 400 Engage and Grow points per a license sold.
